Steve Jobs kalba Stanford'o universitete 2005-aisiais
"Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma — which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary."

Randy Pausch kalba Carnegie Mellon universitete 2008-aisiais
"I think the only advice I can give you on how to live your life well is first off remember, it’s a cliché but I love clichés, it is not the things we do in live that we regret on our deathbed. It is the things we do not.  I assure you I’ve done a lot of really stupid things and none of them bother me.  All of the mistakes and all of the dopey things and all of the times I was embarrassed, they don’t matter.  What matters is that I can look back and say pretty much anytime I got a chance to do something cool I tried to grab for it."

J. K. Rowling kalba Harvard'o universitete 2008-aisiais
"It is impossible to live without failing at something, unless you live so cautiously that you might as well not have lived at all – in which case, you fail by default."

"We do not need magic to change the world, we carry all the power we need inside ourselves already: we have the power to imagine better."

Oprah Winfrey kalba Stanford'o universitete 2008-aisiais
"Be a part of something. Don't live for yourself alone. This is what I know for sure: In order to be truly happy, you must live along with and you have to stand for something larger than yourself. Because life is a reciprocal exchange. To move forward you have to give back. And to me, that is the greatest lesson of life. To be happy, you have to give something back. <...> If you're hurting, you need to help somebody ease their hurt. If you're in pain, help somebody else's pain. And when you're in a mess, you get yourself out of the mess helping somebody out of theirs. "

  1. Dar man labai patiko Jim Carrey kalba - ir
Ellen DeGeneres irgi nereali :) -

  2. Ačiū už pasidalinimą! Abi jas esu išklausiusi ir visiškai pritariu, kad jos dėmesio vertos, ypač Jim Carrey, atradau tą paskaitą vos prieš kelis mėnesius.
Arnold Schwarzenegger kalba, beje, irgi labai neprasta
